Epstein & O’Donovan, LLP partners Jennifer L. Kruszewski and Miles C. Hunt have been selected to speak at the Elder Law and Estate Planning Institute (EL/EPI), a two-day session sponsored by the Maine State Bar Association. The EL/EPI is a symposium held once every five years, providing intensive education on topics related to trusts and estates and elder law.
On May 6, Miles C. Hunt will participate in a panel session entitled “Uniform Guardianship Act: How Is It Working so Far?” In addition to presenting information related to Maine’s Uniform Guardianship Act, Miles will moderate a panel consisting of Hon. Carol R. Emery, Knox County Probate Court Judge, and Guardian ad Litem Ervin D. Snyder, Esq.
On May 7, Jennifer L. Kruszewski, a co-chair of the Planning Committee for the EL/EPI, will present on “Life Cycle of an Estate Income Tax Return.” This program will address income taxation of estates and revocable trusts that become irrevocable upon death.
