Jennifer L. Kruszewski
Jennifer L. Kruszewski joined the firm in May of 2006. A Vermonter by birth, but a Mainer at heart, Jennifer grew up in Windham, Maine and graduated from Catherine McAuley High School in Portland, Maine. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont. After serving as an AmeriCorps Member and the coordinator of an AmeriCorps program assisting elderly persons and adults with disabilities, Jennifer obtained her law degree from the University of Maine School of Law, graduating cum laude and winning the Independent Writing Award. Pursuing a passion for tax law, Jennifer earned her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She is a member of the Maine State Bar Association, the Cumberland County Bar Association and is a member and a past president of the Maine Estate Planning Council. Jennifer has been named to the 2024 list of The Best Lawyers in America for the practice areas of Trusts and Estates and Trusts and Estates Litigation and has been selected as a 2023 New England Super Lawyer. For 2024, Martindale Hubbell has given Jennifer the AV Preeminent Peer Review rating, the highest peer rating standard, given to attorneys who are ranked at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal expertise, communication skills, and ethical standards by their peers. Jennifer is the 3rd Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of Maine, where she also serves on the Executive Committee. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys travel, art, art history and spending time with her Golden Retriever.
