In April of this year, Susan D. Thomas announced her plan to retire on December 31, 2018.  Susan has been practicing law for over 36 years, having spent over 20 years at another Portland law firm and the last 10 years as a partner with Epstein & O’Donovan, LLP.  Susan plans to continue her active community efforts serving on a non-profit board and volunteering for local charities, in addition to pursing her love of sports, music, gardening and real estate projects.  We wish her well and shall miss her dearly.

Earlier this year, Susan’s clients should have received a letter announcing her retirement and requesting instructions concerning transition of their files.  For those clients who have chosen to stay at Epstein & O’Donovan, LLP, we look forward to continuing to work with them and meet their needs.

Any of Susan’s clients who have not responded to Susan’s letter may reach out to Dennis O’Donovan, Jennifer L. Kruszewski, Miles Hunt or Danielle R. Hansen with any questions or concerns about the transition.  Please rest assured that the files and original documents of Susan’s clients shall be held at the firm for safekeeping unless we receive written instructions from the client to transfer that client’s file and documents elsewhere.
