Early this year, Eileen Epstein announced her plan to retire on June 30, 2018. Eileen has been practicing law for nearly 40 years, and 25 of those years have been spent as a partner at Epstein & O’Donovan, LLP. It is never easy to bid farewell to a founding partner of the firm. We shall miss working with her.
Those of us who know Eileen best are confident that she will not, in fact, retire. Instead, Eileen will shift the focus of her talents in order to pursue her passions: travel, reading, interior decorating and spending time with family and friends. Eileen plans to remain “of counsel” to the firm for a period of time after her retirement in order to ensure a smooth transition for clients.
By now, Eileen’s clients should have received a letter announcing her retirement and introducing the other attorneys at the firm who will continue to meet the needs of all of Eileen’s clients. At our firm, we have a collaborative model for working on client matters so that more than one attorney is familiar with clients’ estate planning documents. We look forward to continuing to serve all of the clients of our firm, and we hope that you will reach out to Dennis O’Donovan, Jennifer Kruszewski, or Miles Hunt if you have any questions or concerns about the transition.
