Your Estate Administration Team

When we represent a personal representative, a lawyer in our office has primary responsibility for assisting the personal representative in the administration of the estate. Depending on the size and complexity of the estate, the supervising lawyer may be assisted by another lawyer. In all cases, a paralegal whose work is concentrated in estate administration and related fields will be assigned to the estate as well. The personal representative will probably find that he or she has considerable regular contact with the paralegal assigned to the estate. As questions arise during the administration, personal representatives find the paralegal a great source of practical advice. He or she can also help the personal representative identify legal issues that require the supervising lawyer’s attention.
